Everyone who is anyone has a blog these days, so it's about time I had one too. Actually, the people who really do things seem to be too busy to have blogs, and blogging is more and more for people with not enough to do who spend all their time online. Oh, that's me then...
However, I think blogging might help me to "number my days" (Psalm 90:12). It would be good to spend a few minutes at the end of every day thinking "what have I done today". In fact, this is one of Jonathan Edward's resolutions, so it must be good:
37. Resolved, To inquire every night, as I am going to bed, wherein I have been negligent, -- what sin I have committed, -- and wherein I have denied myself; -- also, at the end of every week, month and year. Dec 22 and 26, 1722
The problem is blogging and general net usage might end up as an excuse for not actually going to bed, and wasting more time...
